Hello! I’m Jessica (she/her): Professional Website Developer and GraphicDesigner, and founder of 5280Devs, where we focus on empowering small businesses with high-quality, affordable web development and design services.
With over 18 years of experience, I’ve helped all sorts of businesses—from large enterprises to small startups—by delivering high-quality digital and print solutions. I specialize in developing custom websites and crafting print materials that reflect each business’s unique identity and goals. My expertise spans platforms like ExpressionEngine, CraftCMS, WordPress, Magento, and Shopify, as well as design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva. I’ve worked across industries including wellness, lifestyle, e-commerce, and service-based industries, delivering tailored digital and print solutions that drive results.
In addition to leading 5280Devs, I’ve freelanced as a website developer and graphic designer at ByteMyPixel since 2008, where I’ve had the opportunity to explore both web development and graphic design, expanding my skills in ways I didn’t get to in my full-time roles. I’m also building Smudge With Me™, a wellness brand that highlights my personal connection to the wellness industry, featuring original artwork, handmade jewelry, herbal teas, and personal care products. This side project gives me a unique understanding of the wellness space and deepens my commitment to helping businesses in this field thrive.
When I’m not designing or coding, I’m typically out hiking, biking, or spending time with my family.

At RMSS I run their monthly and bi-monthly newsletters. I create the layouts, custom graphics, and content.
I also design their collaterals and marketing materials, and manage their Google Ads to help drive results.
ByteMyPixel is my freelancing portfolio which I started in 2008, where I work more on the creative side. This dual role has been instrumental in my growth as an entrepreneur, and I continue to pursue freelance projects there, supporting my ongoing clients in building their online presence.
Under ByteMyPixel, I've designed everything from custom logos to product labels to food truck wraps.
As a Contractor at TS, I've continued to bring the same skillset to the team as when I was Full-Time, and also expanded my horizons.
I've built high-end unique websites for some of the largest dispensaries in the country (e.g: Trulieve*, NOBO Goods, Get Nobo, Shoppe Callies, Beachfire Cannabis, Glacier Concentrates, My Herbology), CBD and wellness businesses (e.g: TelyRx, The Pratt Clinics, BeColorado), as well as a vast variety of other startups and boutiques (e.g: Dune Jewelry, Weber Mandolins, Bedell Guitars, Breedlove Guitars, Belle Lacette Lingerie, Apex Ski Boots, etc)
*Fun Fact: I built the original Trulieve online dispensary website in ExpressionEngine, and then again Magento. I pushed the boundaries of EE and CartThrob (the e-commerce) for their multi-lingual, geolocation-driven experience, and then I later helped to rebuild the e-commerce system in Magento as their needs grew beyond what was achievable in CartThrob. Trulieve went on to be featured in Forbes magazine that year (2021), and have continued to grow since. They are now the largest dispensary in the world, as of writing this (their website was revised by another company in 2024).
At TS I lead the Website Development team as the primary developer, and built custom CMS Websites and E-Commerce Websites. I also ensured our websites were high-performing, SEO optimized, secure, fast, and engaging.
At RS I helped build custom websites with integrated booking engine calendars. I was also responsible for integrating SEO strategies, and styling booking engine systems to match our clients websites seamlessly.
(I would later continue to do freelance work with the former owner years later, and Daemon continues to work with him today, at Bill Mitchell Marketing)
